About the Role

What You’ll Do
Conduct user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing).

Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights that help inform product development.

Assist in creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to communicate research findings.

Collaborate with product designers, developers, and product managers to integrate user feedback into the product development process.

Help conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for improving the user experience.

Assist in preparing and presenting research reports to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Design, or a related field.

Basic understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.

Familiarity with user research methodologies, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, or contextual inquiry.

Experience with research tools such as Google Forms, Lookback, Maze, Hotjar, or similar platforms is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to present research findings clearly and effectively.

Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and apply it to real-world projects.

UX Researcher Intern – Role Requirements

  • Type: Unpaid Internship

  • Location: Remote

  • Duration: 8–12 weeks

  • Time Commitment: 8–15 hours/week



Basic Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative user research methods.

  • Basic understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.

  • Clear communication skills—both written and verbal.



💡 Preferred Skills

  • Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, or usability testing (academic or personal projects welcome).

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Forms, Lookback, Maze, Hotjar, or UserTesting.

  • Ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights.

  • Some exposure to persona creation, user journey mapping, or affinity diagramming.

  • Comfort working with designers and product managers to relay user feedback.
