About the Role
What You’ll Do
Analyze product, user, or business data to support key decisions and strategy.
Clean, organize, and preprocess datasets for exploratory analysis and modeling.
Build and test statistical models or basic machine learning algorithms.
Visualize data and present actionable insights through dashboards, charts, or reports.
Work with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering) to identify problems and data-driven opportunities.
Assist in automating reporting and data analysis processes using Python, SQL, or other tools.
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proficient in Python or R, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or Matplotlib.
Familiar with SQL and data querying from relational databases.
Understanding of basic statistical concepts and machine learning principles.
Ability to visualize data clearly and effectively using tools like Seaborn, Plotly, or Tableau.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Data Scientist Intern – Role
Requirements
Type: Unpaid Internship
Location: Remote
Duration: 8–12 weeks
Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week
✅ Basic Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proficient in at least one programming language used for data analysis — Python or R preferred.
Familiarity with data analysis libraries/tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Scikit-learn.
Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for basic data manipulation.
Solid understanding of statistics and data cleaning techniques.
💡 Preferred Skills
Experience working with SQL and querying relational databases.
Familiarity with machine learning models and evaluation metrics.
Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly).
Understanding of A/B testing, hypothesis testing, or predictive modeling.
Ability to document processes and explain insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
